I've never been allergic to anything in the past, I had a baby in February and I'm not sure if I have developed a food allergy sometime since then. Let me say: I've been able to eat these since I was young. Last week, I had a chicken bacon ranch wrap (chicken, bacon, lettuce, cheese,&ranch) I was starving when I finally ate this so I kinda ate it really fast, within like 20 minutes my mouth started going numb and my tongue. And my throat as well, like I had just eaten a bunch of orajel. I just had another one today but from a different place. Once again I ate it pretty fast because I was hungry. Same thing happened again, my mouth started going numb and my throat. I took Benadryl both times. When I was pregnant I was on vacation and ate smores (really fast) lol it seems like either I 1. Have an allergy to something like wheat.... Or 2. My mouth goes numb when I eat too fast? Yessss I know this is/can be dangerous but I'm planning on calling Monday to see an allergist. Does anyone have any insight on what this could be? OH and I AM able to eat all of these ingredients in any other foods??? So what's the deal?
