I am sorry you are feeling nervous about taking your new Rx...I understand how you are feeling...and yes it is a common irony...feeling anxious about taking a medication to help with anxiety!

I assume you are being prescribed this med as an off label Rx to treat the anxiety?

I think you may have more luck asking in the Bi Polar forum, as this medication is sometimes used for those suffering this disorder along with anxiety...

What are you anxious about? I hear it can work very well for people, and most rate it better than anti depressants for anxiety. Side effects are usually related to being sedate etc so shouldn't be too distressing if you suffer them.

I've been trying to get on it for months but no luck so far, my anxiety is quite high and I want some relief so do let us know how you find it please.
