Hi MM and welcome back!
Although I am sorry that it is due to increased anxiety currently.:(
The fact that you are nervous about being a parent just shows that you are completely normal...and beyond that, conscientious!
No first time parent in the right frame of mind feels fully confident, ready and prepared for it all. It is just something that you must go into knowing that you will learn along the way...and that you, your partner and your baby will do just fine.:)
Do you have a family member or close friend who has gone through this that can be available to help you the first week or so? That I do recommend, just so you can rest and recover a bit. It is exhausting those first few days, and an experienced helper can put your mind at ease, so you can catch up on some sleep.
I know it sounds strange, but after a short time taking care of your little one...you are going to wonder what life was like before she was here...true story.:)
You are going to be a great mom. You are going to know exactly what to do...they don't call it maternal instinct for no reason!
Keep us posted as you can...and congratulations in advance.:)
