Heart racing feeling

Anyone ever feel like their heart is really racing but you go to check your pulse and it's not??? Like I felt this way and my pulse was 80 bpm which is normal. Is it just anxiety ?

Yes Mam, i have delt with this most of my life, i have learned to ignore it after many doctors tried to explain
i finally decided, they must know what they are saying, once you accept this the palps become less and less

Me too. Happens all the time. It's anxiety for m, but now that I know what it is, I don't let it upset me.

Yep, me too!

The stomach is in close proximity to the heart...so a bloated/gassy tummy can press up into the chest cavity...perhaps accounting for the pronounced HR feeling.

Yes I can relate on this one it's one of the classic anxiety symptoms.

Yes happens all the time but I think in my case, it's because of my lyme disease.
