Hi guys, thanks for all the responses. I never had pvcs/pacs till I started lexapro in 2008 and a almost a year later when they started. They went away while I was on and only got them when I was real anxious or stressed but then there gone. I never had the problem that when I walked or ran or cleaned house or going up the stairs now I get the feeling of missed beat and it's very scary. So I'm gonna copy what my cardiologist said to me.
Sorry-- I was away. Frequent PACs can be an indicator that you are a person who might have a tendency to have atrial fib, but NOT NECESSARILY! Everybody has some PACs, and some people have a lot and still never have atrial fib. And atrial fib is really not that big of a deal. Really. I think you're fine. I think you would get a lot of benefit from better treatment of your anxiety--it is making you very uncomfortable. There's no cardiac issue with Buspar or with any of the SSRIs (Zoloft, Prozac, Celexa, Lexapro, etc). PACs are annoying but not an issue, really.
From my Dr!!
