Hiya Lou.
I was quite sad to read your post.
I can't relate to your depression but I do know what it's like to feel so doubtful and unsure - Questioning everything is exhausting.
I'm sorry to hear about your relationship issues; He doesn't understand? My family don't understand either, they think I need to "wise up" and "be strong" etc; It's hard for people who have never experienced a mental health issue to understand how debilitating and upsetting it is.
The ignorance of people is in my opinion based on lack of understanding and it is not because they don't care, it's just because they don't have to feel how we have to feel every single day and often the people closest to us can feel as if they are to blame for our illnesses, so that's likely why your boyfriend takes it personally.
It's not his fault. It's not your fault.
How long have you been on the medication? It can take at least a month to kick in. Have you spoken to your doctor recently about feeling this low? You should.
Please keep fighting and believing in yourself, you will get better in time.
