Getting frustrated with the burning

Anxiety is up today, blood pressure is up today, burning and itching is up today which caused the rest to go up.

I'm now wondering if the new vitamin supplement and/or amoxicillin is adding to the burning. My eyes are also dry, red and burning with this and I can see a slight redness on my forehead that is burning pretty bad.

I don't know what to do, I am having major anxiety and am dizzy now too and my throat feels weird which I can only hope is just anxiety.

I took the amox and one of the newish multi vit's also today. I am burning daily. My scalp is on fire with pain.

I'm so scared. My chest is bothering me too. I don't want to end up in the er but I can't shake this.

I am trying the best I can. We made dinner and took it to my sons, ate and watched a movie over there. I was able to at least bring my blood pressure out of the 150's on top to the 140's so that is the best thing. Still burning. I skipped my dose of amox.

I really think all the meds this last month did a number on my body.

I am glad that you got to spend some time with your family yesterday...

...I am hoping you are feeling better today? There is going to be a turnaround in this. Keep up faith, and spend the long weekend going through our Resources as much as you can to keep you busy, distracted and immersed in the anxiety management material...it is a safe place to be!

You did well cooking and going out to your son,s.
Your too hard on you're self ...sitting through a movie too.

These are all achievements that are normally taken for granted... But you have been under so much stress this last month... You should give your self a huge pat on the back.

Well done you.. That's a step in the right direction a good distraction and a bonus seeing your son and sharing a meal

This burning and itching is not anxiety. I just spent another night in pain. I can't take much more of this. When it began it was only my face but the Dr. didn't listen to me and I couldn't get off the medicine. By the time I did get another and got off it, it had spread. My face, scalp, back, legs, feet are all itching and burning this morning still. I didn't sleep very much, it is impossible.

I am sorry your still suffering , you must be so distressed by it, which wont be good for your BP either.

I shared on another post about one of my residents who has the same burning and itching all over his body. It started in a small area at first but now he has it every where.

Because it was diving him crazy he had scratched so much his skin had become red raw in parts.
Everywhére else there is nothing to see on his skin just intense burning.

He has been diagnosed with PTSD which they think he had been coping with to some degree for almost 70 years after the war. But has now manifested itself this way.

I would try and see your Doctor again after the weekend as this must be wearing you out xx

I couldn't sleep last night I was in so much pain and itching. I went to the urgent care today. They gave me a steroid shot and some steroids to take for 5 days to see if it will help since the antihistamines do not help.

I hope that the steroids help you!

If not, I think it might be time to look into seeing some specialists to determine the cause of this issue.

...but hopefully this treatment will do the trick...fingers crossed!

Absolutely, I am trying to hold on till we can get some health insurance. Hopefully that will happen in January or shortly after. I'm still burning right now but I am holding on to some hope that one day it will resolve. Tonight we work on sleep and hopefully good things will come after. I'm very tired.

ok headache and nausea I would guess from the shot yesterday. Just took my first dose of prednisone and a little anxious!
