There is of course a time and place to go to the doctor and take Rx's when/if needed...

...but there is also just as much a need to work, and push through the discomfort/struggle and grow through therapy and self help!

So yes, I like his lobster analogy...and am going to be working on my latest new shell ! ;)

Thank you for sharing this... It made me question my thought pattern.

I worked through anxiety with a reluctance to take meds instead i did it with hard work and a lot of determination..... Is he saying that you won't grow and move on if you take meds?

Or have I completely misunderstood .. It is late and I'm tired 😊 lol

I don't think it's an anti med message...

...but rather an encouragement that through adversity, we are strengthened.

It's indisputable that meds are a wonderful tool for many...

...but there's also times when facing the anxiety head on and allowing our skills to shine is in order.;)
