Hello All-

My anxiety has been HORRIBLE sad
My son and I had norovirus. I am terrified of it coming back.
My son also had strep throat.

I have heard of a lot of people getting the flu this year and I am so scare we will get it sad I don't get the flu shot bc I am afraid of it.

I work full time outside of the home. My son is in kindergarten.

My husband wears his shoes in the house.

I am just so afraid of illnesses and germs sad

I am afraid my tattoo is attacking my immune system.
I am looking into getting it removed with lasers but I am afraid that will attack my immune system.

I am tired of worrying sad

Sorry for such a depressing post I have just been having a hard time. Thank in advance for any responses.

Hi

Sorry to hear you are having a tough time at the moment I think there is a lot of viruses around at the moment I myself have had a really bad cold and sore throat which I'm finding hard to get rid of.

Keep your fluid levels up especially lot of water as this will help flush the virus out and plenty of rest.

With regards to your tattoo removal I don't think that getting it removed will have an impact on your immune system so I wouldn't be to worried about that but if it's something that is really worrying you then speak with your doctor and see what they advice.

I am really sorry that you're feeling overwhelmed with the fears regarding health/illness. sad

Have you had a chance to check out our self help for health anxiety in the Resources yet? They could be something that brings you some relief from the worries.
