Scared of my trip

Tomorrow I go on an airplane trip to another city. All kinds of anxieties are popping up, mostly centered about going through security, imagining being stopped and frisked and worse. I made sure all the toiletries I am taking are within guidelines but I just can't seem to get over my worry about security.

Plus I will be staying in someone else's house and getting used to things being different. My hostess couldn't be more accommodating but I still worry about if I will have everything I need.

Would appreciate any shares from someone who has had these worries.

My "what if's" and "what am I going to do" thoughts just continue on and on.

Hi

I can relate to your post as I always get myself in the same state before a trip especially when I have a flight. My goto is Mindfulness Meditation which I find helps calm me so maybe you could try that and see if it helps there are loads of mindfulness videos on youtube.

With regards to the security you have followed all the appropriate guidelines so you will be fine.

Do some mindful meditation to keep you focused.Dont worry about security, you will be through the otherside before you know it.
On my last flight i downloaded an audio book called Chill Pill and listened to it on the plane it was a guided relaxation thing.

OG,

I really doubt you'll have any clearance/security issues...

...but even if you do, you will be alright. I've been stopped and it was really no big deal. (the officers were very polite and got me on my way as soon as possible)

It was my own fault really. I was wearing a bronzing lotion with 'sparkles' in it that apparently reacts to their 'questionable substance' list. Live and learn!

I think as long as you skip that step in your beauty regimen, you'll be fine, lol!! ;p

Have a WONDERFUL time! You will I am sure once you get going. smile
