Hi LMA,
I am so sorry to hear you are having a rough time at night...while you should be able to rest. ;/
I know that feeling of trying to escape by physically running around, away from the anxiety...and it is miserable.
You had to take your migraine med last night, right? I am sure that added to the issue...but since you are feeling this often, without the caffeine consumption, then I would suggest powering down as much as possible before bedtime to be as relaxed as you can.
Avoiding watching t.v., or any device with a blue screen will help. Relaxation exercises, drinking some warm herbal (no caffeine) with milk, and stretching/progressive muscle relaxation are all great ideas to put into your routine too.
Also try reading or journaling. Listening to sound wave therapy, and use positive mantras to avoid the anxiety as you go to sleep as these will also be beneficial for you finding the rest you need.
Wishing you a better night tonight!
