I have tried therapy, had 5 sessions and the therapist kind of ignored the swallowing issue.. im going to therapy again, a different therapist, ive ben to 4 sessions so far so cant judge yet.. however,i havent tried medication yet.
I checked the resources, there are so many links that i find it hard to decide which to follow. can you please recommend one or two that you find helpful in calming the mind and reducing panic?

I am sorry to read of this challenging issue that has bothered you for so long. When a phobia like this persists and disrupts your quality of life...it is certainly time to seek help.
What have you tried thus far for treatment...medication, therapy...both?
These are the usual choices for management, so if you've not consulted with your doctor yet, I do encourage you to do so.
For now, please check out self help material in our Resources at the top of the main forum page here for great stress relieving links. Practicing the suggested exercises daily will make a big difference in how you feel.
