taking dog to vet

I'm really anxious about taking our dog to the vet. My sister kind of bossed me around and gave me this responsibility. So I sort of resent that. Anyway, I'm going. The dog's collar was too big so I put in a new notch and now I think it is secure. Just worried we will run into other dogs - big ones. Mine is a chihuahua. Anyway, just need support.

Hello! I'm not sure if you went yet but I know what eases my mind bringing my dog to the vet is knowing the professionals are there and know what they're doing. I'm sure they keep an eye on big dogs and dogs that look rough, and I'm sure the owners will have them on tight leashes as well! Most of the time big dogs are just as gentle as small one too and I'm sure your leash is very secure! Good luck!
