Is panic disorder different than gad?

My doc diagnosed me with panic disorder but I'm looking at GAD. I'm curious what is different about them. I started with panic and now more consistent anxiety. Just curious if anyone knows more.

I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder first. This year I was diagnosed with panic disorder.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder - Worry about EVERYTHING almost all the time.
Panic Disorder --> The PHYSICAL manifestations of the anxiety disorder.

Panic disorder goes hand in hand with GAD. However, not everyone who has GAD, has PD.
Everyone with PD, DEFINITELY has GAD.
