Hi Everybody,
I am having a very hard time at this moment due to the fact that I'm not sure whether I'm having symptoms of anxiety or a serious aliment that needs to be checked out. I have been diagnosed with GAD in the past, and thus have a pretty good sense of what my reactions to anxiety are. But I've been having this new sensation lately (started late last week) that doesn't feel like my classical anxiety symptoms: I feel a dullness (not painful) in the back of head, in and around my spinal chord area. If I move about, however, the dullness turns into a dull pain. I defintely feel brain fog as well, almost like I'm kind of drunk if you ask me. Additionally, over the past few days, I have noticed that I no longer have the urge to eat or drink, even though I force myself to, and despite forcing myself to eat over the past few days, I have no urge to go poop. When I do go, my stool is soft, slender and long. It just all seems pretty weird if you ask me. I went to my GP, who put me on new meds: citalopram 10mgs to see if these would help. They haven't helped so far. My GP didn't seem to think it was a serious ailment, but considering these sensations have gotten a little worse, I have my doubts.
Is this something that I should have checked out somewhere, if so, what could it be? or could these be merely new anxiety symptoms?
Thank you very much for checking this out,
Bob
