Hi,
I have several thing to ask so I hope I do not seem to be demanding too much from people who may only have an answer for one of them.
I turn 51 in 2017. My abbreviated backstory is of a person who has always been a problem solver, being oddly insightful and my profession involves both of those many times every day.
Now at a half century I am generally physically healthy with no serious or persistent health issues - generally.
In November 2016 my chiropractor injured my neck - after ALL of the tests it was diagnosed as nerve damage.
No remuneration either as nerve damage is "impossible" to "prove".
So today, i see a GP nearly 4 times a week - not initially as lots of physical therapy and pain meds were getting me through the days.
Now the visits are for anxiety which verges on panic on bad days - I'm missing a lo of work because I am not emotionally coping and I am trying to retain a modicum of dignity by not cracking it into tears for no apparent (to others) reason.
I get a lot of trembling, fear of disaster and emotional swings - the latter being thankfully the least of the three so when I am working I can still be productive AND pleasant
Several medications for the anxiety had the reverse effect and my symptoms were dramatic to say the least until being off them for a few days and getting script
s for Xanax or Valium to manage the trembling hands thing.
SO finally my questions:
Can the frequent use of codeine exacerbate anxiety when I have used codeine for the first 50 years of my life - sometimes in an inappropriate way (to get high) the anxiety never surfaced, but I have to ask.
Can Olanzapine suddenly cause anxiety - I have been taking a small dose 7.5 mg for over 22 years.
Can vallium suddenly stop working from moderate use?
This is really new for me and initial Psych and Counselling appts have been made just this week.
Thanks in advance for an information or answers.
