How has your week been check in if you have the time.
I had my best friends wedding to attend this weekend and it was a really nice day.
However for me on an anxiety level it was a bit of a nightmare it started of bad at the airport on Friday I was waring my suit jacket as I did not want to get it all creased in my luggage and when I arrived at the airport I bought myself an egg and bacon roll for breakfast. When I took my second bite of the roll egg yolk squirted out all over my suit jacket
and anxiety went in to full on panic mode. I managed to sort it out though by making a quick trip to the toilet and sticking it under a tap.
I was an usher at the wedding and was in charge of the music during the service which sounded no problem just had to hit play on the playlists at the correct time but when your standing in front of 130 people it became a bit more anxiety provoking than expected. All was good got the walk in music done and then the signing the register music done but when it came to the walk out music I was unable to get it loud enough to hear over every one clapping and cheering so you couldn't hear anything until the clapping had stopped by which time they had left the building so I felt really bad. My friend was really nice about
it and said don't worry about
it but i'm sure you can all relate to how anxiety can make you feel in a situation like that.
I really need to find a way of getting back in control of my social anxiety as it has become really bad again even with me using all my coping skills I just constantly feel on the edge of a panic attack or burst into tears.
Anyway I pushed through it and was pleased my friend and his wife had a great day and all the guests had a good time.
Sorry bit of a long post from me I just wanted to get it out and inspire myself to really tackle my social anxiety because I can't carry on like this.
