update.

mum was in transitional care until she busted her hip ball by falling, too many falls, this time it smashed, she got a metal one. she in the hosp, been a couple of days since surgery. she just came out of rehab and into transitional!! boy she done the rounds. she ok but in pain. just got from a visit.
other bro is being sorted from his filthy living conditions and we hope a ccu will come up soon. we are awaiting the gov for a final clean up approval as we are giving the house back so he don't get evicted. his guardian on board. we have had to push. we gave mum back her ph so she can contact her sons. this was a problem in the past, and is being monitored. sis is going to check the hosp haven't played with her psych meds again. mum was more vague, we know how this works, so sis going to make sure.
the sun is out, blue skies and i am playing my air guitar on me walking stick to some cool j. satriani vibes. been cleaning today, like everything!! am having a cup of joe...learnt this from the queen of coffee-karen, bless her!! me, sore too. been dx with peripheral neuropathy. getting harder to walk for the turtle on the stick. i need more activity and to go distances i need a scooter, the mobility kind. to walk a km and a half it is like an hour.
diabetes on the improve, cholesterol down. 2.9. tick. eating pretty good. just thought i would check in. i have my moments, alike you all...however i always seem to push thru. for me my mental and physical illnesses are all about management....what you can do and not what limited to is what i am about. the new yr is upon us...it goes so fast these days. my sis is opening her shop soon, her and her partner make crystal jewellery, sculptures wands neck laces and cool lapidary. they were working from home and market stalls, but they have been getting their stuff in cool shops, selling to wholesalers and to peeps all over the world. my sis partner is an award winning lapidary marvel. skulls, animals, mystical wands. they do awesome stuff. am going down next week to see the finished shop.

Sorry to hear this. I think at times medical professionals forget that they are dealing with humans...with actual emotions. :/

Hopefully she will learn a bit from this experience...?
