Has anyone had success with effexor or wellbutrin for anxiety

Hi all,

Has anyone had success with effexor or wellbutrin for anxiety? I've read up on these drugs and one effect is increase heart rate for both, something I don't need. Has anyone gotten relief with these drugs and/ or no increase in heart rate.

I take wellbutrin 2X a day and haven't had problems with it. My heart does race every now and then but it might have before. I think, with me, the racing is caused by anxiety and wellbutrin helps but isn't a magic pill.

Yes I have taken Effexor in the past and found it to be an effective medication it did not increase my heart rate. For me the only downside was that it was hard to discontinue and took me a long time to come off it.

I am taking Effexor and have taken it for years and does not make my heart race and is very effective.
