Yes, I have had those kinds of troubles for years. In my case it's IBS brought on by stress and anxiety. Even if it's the good kind of stress. I have been like this since I was a small child and I've also had anxiety that long.
As a matter of fact I was only a bit over an hr. of delivering my first child before I realized it was labor and not IBS. It hurts!
Periods also can go into turmoil when it comes to stress. And, as you stress the stress gets worse causing more stress and then....
Our bodies can be really sensitive, especially the gut. I have actually read that their is a signal that goes between our brain and our digestive system and that they communicate. I didn't really dig in so who knows if that's true, there is so much on the net that isn't as factual as one might like to think.
But, if you have doubts go see your Dr. There are tests that can be done to rule out and figure out those kinds of problems. Just knowing you're ok may help you.
There are, of course other things that can cause the problem too. Like you gall bladder or etc.... If it gets to unmanageable before you can get in with your PC do go to an emergent care or the ER.
This is only my thoughts and the way my body works, though. We're all different.
