How has your week been? Check in if you have the time.

I am still suffering with withdrawal symptoms from the Olanzapine it's been 3 months now since I stopped taking it I have an appointment with my new doctor next week and hopefully will be referred to the mental health team as I have recently moved to a new area.

I am sorry you are still having withdrawal symptoms from the Olanzapine. Is that a benzo? Sounds like it could be from the name.

Best wishes with the new doctor. My husband just saw a new one and he really likes him. That makes a huge difference. I hope yours is nice.

I am so sorry your anxiety got worse with the medication change. Can you change it back to the way you were taking it and see if the anxiety lessens? Do you do breathing exercises??? They help a lot.

Happy New Year to you.

Olanzapine is an antipsychotic medication I think it's also known as Zeprexa I also came off Valium at the same time so got a double whammy lol. I really hope that my doctor can help as my aim for this year is to get back working again I lost my job back in 2011 due to ill health which I still have but i'm sick of being on disability benefit and not having much money so really want to work at getting back to full time employment but it's going to be hard.

However, Sunday I probably won't be because we're supposed to get an ice storm on Sunday here in Maine. So I'll likely be stuck in the house all day. We'll likely lose power. Fortunately I have a generator.
