:-)  Morning

Since the Holidays are fast approaching I wanted to just remind ppl to get their prescriptions and doc appointments set up BEFORE they go out on holidays .

Have all your needs at hand over the Season as we all know it can become over powering and stressful at times

I feel the meds are very important as you DO NOT want to run out and have none and no doc to help you out .........

When and if you get to OVERLOAD you can come here I will be here I am sure as well as others to help support you thru this time

I too am a sufferer and I have crohns so sometimes I am sick but I like to make sure I do check in at least on a daily basis to just touch base with you all .

I have come to know all of you and have read you problems your successes and your triumphs and trials ........I read every post as does other moderators ......

We might not get to you immediately but we have so many great and supportive members here that I know you will find your way with their help

I have never seen such a great group of ppl that are in pain mentally and physically yet they never stop supporting one another .I am so proud to be part of this " Lil Family "

Have a safe ,(try) stress free holiday and enjoy your family friends and loved ones

Thanks for all your contributions and support to ppl on this forum and to me during my times as well....I have been in and out last few days due to crohns flare but I hope I am getting thru that and the depression as well ...........

What brought this on is that I have been in a dark place again sick from crohns feeling totally OVERWHELMED and not up to physical duties I HAVE to do
I look after step dad who has Alzheimers and I am facing my first Christmas without my Mom
I have just recently broke down about all that and realized she is gone really gone and wont be back but I know she is now all better no more alzheimers and no more pain
Its me who has to fix me
Forgetting ( conciously??) appointments with specialists and meds ect.....
it will get better I know I am going to make it better
I just wanted you 's all to make sure you have emergency kits all ready to go in case
Going to docs and tx and get all RX together
Kicking self in gasket today .........
Positive I have to be .........
I dont like this dark place at all ..........coming outta the dark

This is a very good post you have started because me as one didn't even think to check on my meds till you said something.

I know I will be around and I will help out as much as possibkle but I too have obligations to do with Cait and Howie his mom and my Dad ....Plus I know I am gonna try hardest to get thru this Christmas w/o mom as best as I can for the one here.......and my family
Please do make sure you are prepared lol

Excellent advice, thank you. I hope that things get better real soon. I pray for you everyday. So sorry about Christmas without Mom. Try to switch your thoughts to happy times and then think of her in heaven and go visit her grave with a friend and talk to her. God bless you friend.

Just wanting to make sure NO ONE is w/o meds or anything they need during the hiatus Doctors take at Christmas ..........
I find many ppl at ER can be a wee grumpy at having to work on holiday lol

Morning
Saw my doc yesterday made sure ALL meds are refilled and have repeats on them as well
had my bloodwork done on a med ( bad for liver) and so have to be checked every month
Weight was down by 7.5 lbs but I am thinking the 2 quarts of Eggnog I drank yesterday might help that lol
PLease get all you stuff together and have support lines open with family and friends.......as well as HW

I went to doc today and he put me back on the "Lexapro" with careful monitoring. Psychiatrists will be scare over the holidays. Good advice.

yes they will as will any doc ......so PLEASE check count whatever it is you do to make sure you have enough meds
Running out of SSRI's is dangerous and I dont think ppl on any valium ativan xanax type meds can go for too long either
Docs are usually gone for at least up to one week and more
