How does someone with A/P deal with a rash of problems all at the same time??!! Everyday something else seems to be added to my list- today we found out the unemployment is claiming that the attorney did not file my husband's appeal in a timely manner. Now a hearing has to be set for the timeliness issue too! Plus now my husband is on the phone with friends of my MIL in Florida-my MIL is on a cruise and my alcoholic SIL (who lives with my MIL) has passed out in a drunken state again-they do not know what to do with her. This is all on top of us both losing our jobs this year and us both facing health issues this year (though we have gotten through them ok).
When will this all end??!! Certainly not good for my anxiety!!

Dear A.l. I'm so sorry you are having a series of bad events. I can certainly relate! I'm very depressed though instead of anxious. I think when you are anxious you still feel hopeful but worried. I have days when I lose my hope. Thankfully, I see a glimmer still. All I can suggest is that you literally take one day at a time. Don't allow your thoughts to get ahead of you. Write out a to do list and focus on that. Deal with the next thing when you can deal with. Journal at the end of the night. Write out all of your thoughts - even the nasty ones, curse if you need to and then crumple it up. Hope it ends soon.

Hopeful-thank you soooooo much for your words of encouragement and suggestions!! I know you are going through a rough time yourself and I really appreciate your taking the time to respond to my post!! Hopefully we will both be on this board soon writing about how things did work out for us!!
