  Thing's we do for our kid's for Christmas.

  My favorite is when my youngest girl was about 4 or 5 we were still building our house and were living in the basement with only a wood stove for heat, and she ask us how is Santa going to get in with the fire going and started to cry saying that (Santa can't come down the chinely with the fire going) so we put the fire out when she when't to bed so she was happy. We then placed all the gifts under the tree and when't to bed and froze are butt's off all night long lol

Memories of helping the kids bring in a bucket of water for the reindeer, bottle of pop, and a piece of cake for Santa..but the best part was when they were asleep we would get bits of grass and dirt and scatter them around the bucket - tip some of the water out and spreinkle bits of grass in the bucket too lol - the reindeer really had been lol...the bottle of pop and the cake weren't too bad either I gotta say :))

Cait is alot older now but I use to write a note from Santa leave it saying thanks for the cookies and milk ( couldnt eat them all ....getting full ) and thanks for giving my reindeer carrots
One yr I was right silly and climbed up the aerial on house and with 2 pieces of wood made sleigh tracks and she was absoultely thrilled that Santa was on our roof
Will not buy bagged "reindeer food again " dang stuff looks like bird seed and I had to go round picking most of it up as Cait knew where she had thrown it

  I remember this other time my kid wanted her frist bike for Christmas with training wheels, I worked on it in the shop putting it together for her and then on Christmas eve I got out the ladder and placed it on top of the roof, and after all the gifts were opened I told her she needed to go out and feed the dogs after feeding the dogs she came running in and told us that Santa had left her new bike up  on the roof of the house and I had to get it for her now lol
