many psychs originally said all agoraphobia was thru pre menstural pronlems and so it was labeled as a womens only disease
a man came down with severe agoraphobia, he was a school headmaster and needed help, eventually his psychiatriats said he was a fascinating case, he had in a process of hysterical conversion, adopted all the problems of a womens disease called agoraphobia
he later got help from the agoraphobia self help movement
so Im saying that undoubtedly it gets worse at stressful times, but the cause isnt pre menstural problems, many men get it too, and theres no separate male version of agoraphobia, panic disorder or whatever you want to call it
your K dose is very small, ask doc about a higher dose on the bad days and you should also learn CBT, that is different ways of coping with the stress and tension
an antidepressant may well help with all you mention and would go well with the K
I would try one of the safer older and cheaper ones such as prozac, at a very low starting dose doc will probably want you to take an expensive new one, perhaps which earns him some benefit
