I think that is a great idea. I have never heard of a mental health hotline and I am shocked that no one has ever thought of having one. My panic attacks usually last about
30-45mins as well. My mom is usually always around so I talk to her a lot when I am having them. It really does help to have someone to talk to. I am a talker when I get nervous. I tend to babble on and on about
the same thing. I guess it is my way of letting that nervous energy out! That is probably why they do tend to not last as long when you are talking to someone because you are getting that nervous energy out in the form of communication.

Well, if I'm ever rich I'm going to start one.
I find that if I have a panic attack alone, the really bad part of it can last 30 or 45 minutes. If I have someone to talk to (about anything), it cuts that time in half or more. And the "residual" part of the attack seems to away more quickly, too.
