19/male
urgggh ok, so i wondered if anyone could give me some reasurrance - i have a really mean doctor who just seems to hate me, so i wanted to see if this made any sort of medical sense before i went to see him next week and risk being laughed at or whatever.
I was doing my exams last year and i was on anti-biotics for 9 months for acne (the doctor forgot to take me off of them) and i noticed i was getting sick quite a lot, feeling very nausious and things, so i brought myself off the anti-biotitcs and put the rest down to stress. I started feeling a little bit better with the occasional bad time where i had to suddenly leave to the toilet or whatever, but i got through exams and everything was fine with them. Then summer came and i was under no stress, but got depression and found i was feeling sick a lot, loss of appertite, a lot of anger, lots of funny uncomfort in my stomach but didn't think much of it, just got on with things.
Then at the end of the summer i tried another acne treatment and after 1 days dose i got REALLY ill, so ill that i ordered food out a few times and just looking at it made me have to leave the room coz i felt SO bad. I had a camera put down into my stomach and it said i had an inflamed stomach lining, but i have been on treatment for that for maybe 4 months now and my doctor says it should be better by now.
The thing is, i have always been a very nervous person and have always been a bit funny with food. I go on 2 hour walks at least 4 times a week, and i feel fine when i'm on them coz i'm alone, but the SECOND i'm in a situation i can't controll or get out of easily, i freak out and feel REALLY heavily sick and like i'm going to faint sometimes. And if i know a friend is comming to visit or i have to go somewhere, i really get worried about it and start feeling bad sometimes days before the event, it's really put my life on hold. Could this be agrophobia?
I think i'm suffering from stress and depression also, and this is preventing my stomach from healing properly maybe, because i seem to ALWAYS feel a bit under the weather and nausious, but it gets incredibly bad when in those previously mentioned situations. Does this make medical sense?
PLEASE help ease my mind, i'm getting into knotts. If is IS agrophobia, how would they treat me and how long do you think it would take?
thanks for reading!!! take care
