I went to the ER last week

Again about nine days ago I went to the ER for chest pains and I went to the front desk I don't know rather to laugh or get upset lol. The told the lady at the desk I have chest pains and a little swelling on my three fingers. This nurse took my blood pressure and it was 120/78 and don't get me wrong thats great but she started laughing (I'll get back to that) A second nurse took me to the back and I let her see my hand(I put a heating pad on it weeks ago and still slightly puffy) she viewed it and said its ok not much. Well after that they took a EKG and it was great and the doctor check my lungs,neck,eyes ankle(no blood test or MRI) and she said I was healthy funny still wondering how those simple test she came up with that but I do understand the ekg part. Last she just gave me a pill (1MG) and WOW that stuff was great. Since then I have had extremely minor or no anxiety at ALL.

ANY COMMENTS I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IT.

Do you know what was given to you last night
Ativan as well as some others come in 1 mg form

I take ativan for my a/p and it helps me out tremendously

Let us know what it was if you know plz

Glad you have had no a/p or very little since......

Wow, one pill.......that is fantastic and I am glad it helped you. I would guess it was probably 1 mg of Ativan too.
If you find out please post the med. I have the feeling You will win the personal battles you are fighting in your life!

Yes the pill was great but it was truly the support of Howlyncat because she is a RN I got better insight and after taking two EKG'S in seven months and blood pressure 120/78 (two of my biggest fears) I truly know now my heart if fine and blood pressure so I know I'm fine.

I am so glad you are able to relax about you heart and BP. Yes your BP was very normal. You had mentioned you did not know how they could tell without doing the MRI if your heart was ok. The EKG is a big part of it but one of the best diagnostic tools to use to tell if a patient is having a heart attack is looking at your patient, listening to their history of their illness and then put it together with the tests.
I am glad your great, I love a happy success story. You are so right, Howlyncat is simply quite wonderful.
