Centers for A/D

Are there places that admit you in a program for A/D, and if so has anyone done a program like that? I really feel like I need to go through a program, I would like to find a center that does that, I would really like to stay in one, to get away and worry about nothing but getting better, I feel it's got to that point, I feel I need that type of setting to get better and I think it will work the fastest and the best.

I was just in a 10 day program. Well you can go for 10 -30 days at this place, depending on your condition and stuff. I personally loved it. It was the best thing I've ever done and my insurance covered A LOT of it, so the out of pocket expense wasn't bad. It was a great experience for me. Would go there again in a heartbeat. I'm thinking that most psychiatric hospitals (Large hospitals usually have them) have out patient programs. The one i was in was 6 hours a day, and the people there (both patient and therapist) were amazing people. I did notice, that most people there were there for depression, but all the workshops and therapy sessions were very helpful for anxiety and panic (thats why i went).

It sounds like the place you might wanna go. I hope that you live in a city that has something like this. I dont know if some just try and dope you up, but the one i went to was all about CBT and other styles of coping skills. There was also a psychiatrist assigned to you that monitors your meds ( if you need or are taking any) and is there for you any time of the day (I even called mine on a saturday one time cause i was having panic and she returned my call in 15 minutes and helped me out). You also have a Therapist that is also available for 1 on 1 at any time. It was really great, and i hope you can find a resource like the one i went to. Also, it was a safe environment for me to go to everyday. I really loved it. It took a few days, but looking back I'm so happy i went.

Sorry, I thought you meant a full in house treatment center as you posted above you really would like to "stay" in one.
