Where Would You Like To See Self In 6 mths from NOW..........

 Well in over 6 mths

I have made some major life changes ..gone thru surgury and

I have a lil sis I love and lean on for support always

 

I Lost my dad this year as well

He went just about 2 yrs after Mom

At least I know they are now free from pain and AD

and are together again

I MISS THEM SO

CHERISH your Parents

 

Howie and I are trying again but not yet sleeping in same bed

 that will take some time on my part

I DO love him and I know he loves me

He made a big mistake

But I have to let him back in if

I want to be loved and love him here at home

 

Cait has gotten GREAT with her math this yr

I still believe it was the way the teacher was approaching her

It shows with the diffference in her marks

 

She text'd me from school today and it seems she is up for an award

I WILL be present ...as will her dad

Cait has had some really rough times this yr as well

But she is growing and learning

Dealing with plenty of peer pressure at school and seeing me always sick

has really gotten to her

SHE DOES MAKE ME PROUD

 

I am still here a moderating lol

No better place to get support and care IMHO

That was great, wonderful and honest.  You know yourself very well.  I pray you will meeting some of these goals.

I truly believe you can do alot of these things in baby steps..do not overwhelm self and give up

Make the same list at home and have it where you can see it ..........
Then when you make even a tiny tiny step
CHECK it off and post it here for us to see how you are doing..........

I would think the waking with anxiety is
"Anticipatory Anxiety"
You feel or dread what the day wil bring??

I use to have this EVERY MORNING
Now thru CBT
I wake with a step in my heart and know I can make it a good day with doing just any simple thing I could not
do before

NO problem my friend
I see alot of you in the way I was a few yrs back
I could not fall asleep for all the "stinking thinking " going on in my head

I was the sole caregiver for both parents ( had alzheimer's) and both have now passed away
Mom in March 2006 Dad in April 2008

It is still paining me BUT I have learned to CELEBRATE their lives and celebrate what each gave us kids and this world....

I am ill but I WILL NOT let it take the life I have left in me
I am a firm believer that we can take small steps daily
Even if its to get out from under the covers and face the day

ME....I make sure I get up daily and still have to have my face made up and hair curled and tons of hairspray..........lol
I do this for me
I also call Kitt ( lil sis to me ) about everyday
I am in Ontario and she is in MN
BUT she has helped me out so much this last while
As have others as you will come to see
IT is a FAMILY" here Ben and you are now part of our lil "family"

Do you have SOMETHING special that you like to do just for YOU
I can just about guareentee that once you reach one of your goals you will have more of a POSITIVE outlook on life

Sometimes I will just go to the "Elders" Healing Hut or to talk to them and that sure has helped me
Other things I do is go for walks I am really a nature NUT lol
Love nature and listening to thunderstorms and lighting flashing ......

As for going out for a walk

How bout just a walk to the corner for the first time

and then go farther and farther

YOU will meet that person that ONE you will be able to make eye contact with

After that my friend its all the way

At night I have a HOT MILK with a touch of cinnamon on it

Has an ingredient in it that when warmed up activates

Kinda why they give babies warm milk

I also am on trazadone and for me the thinking is stopped a half hour after I take the med and drink milk and I am off to sleep

You could use a TAD of hot chocolate in there as well but not too much

Be well and try it you might just be surprised..........TTY tomorrow

Going up to watch my shows and go to bed

I am up at 5 am Ontario time and on here lol

I'm impressed that you overcame a hard time of it in school to have a successful career.

You're worried about getting emotional during your teaching, but I think it's more likely that you won't break down during work. I believe a lot of us have a sort of "professional mode" that we go into while working, so that even at our lowest, we somehow manage to hide how we're feeling until we're alone. I don't know if it's just that little extra distraction from our moods, even when they seem very powerful, or what. In my own case, there were months on end where I spent all my time curled in a ball at home, yet when I got to work, somehow I always pushed myself to do what i had to do, and I never broke down there.

I just could not help myself from teasing you. 

I became a Great Grandmother this week.................so in 6 months maybe I can see my 2 great grandchildren  from my oldest Granddaughter.  She lives in Oregon.

You are going to be just fine.  I would put on my professional hat on the way to work and if I was having a tough day I would repeat " I am a professional, I can do this"

Do not dwell on the "what ifs?"

We often waste way too much of our time and energy focusing on what we don't like, what we're worried about, or what we think needs to be fixed, changed, or enhanced.

There are great things happening in your life and around you all the time.

Celebrate the good stuff around us, in others, and in ourselves.

I know you can do this, you have it within in you to set your goals and then reach them one at a time.

Totally unlike her but has been going thru alot
