Hi xgm,
I hope you know, you're totally not alone. I've been going through pretty much what it sounds like you are going through. I'm 19 and I'm living on my own now. I moved away from my home town with my boyfriend and that has caused me a lot of stress. My conditions have gotten much worse in the past few months. Just to let you know, it does get better. I go through good days and bad days. You just have to keep going and realize that you won't let yourself be controlled. It's one of the hardest things to do, but when you face your fears, you'll feel so much better. You just have to trudge through. And stay on this sight too. Ever since I've started posting and reading other people's posts I've felt so much better. And dont worry, even if you your anxiety doesn't go away completely, you can still have a pretty normal life. You just have to learn how to control it and not let it control you. Keep seeing your therapist and taking your meds. You'll get through this. I know how hopeless it can feel sometimes. I'm young too, and it scares the crap out of me to think that I'll be plagued with these thoughts for the rest of my life and how much I'll miss out on. But you can't think about
that. Just keep a positive outlook and that alone will help you A LOT. Its hard, but you just have to persevere. Stay strong!!
