Now folks last yr we had a thread on the winter cold "Freezing" faces in Alaska ...........GOLD COUNTRY........

 

It was quite the popular thread and ya just yak about the weather and all ya want so we are gonna start it up again .........its a FUN thread and talk about anything and to one another .......

I am going to let you all know right now that Freezing is already faced with tons of snow ..lol......and 

yep Cowboy you are so right we did get some last night and are in for more today .love it .......

ROFLMBO.........Love it when u get to being silly .......NOW for all seriousness.......u have to come visit me .........u can wait til after the snow is all gone.......ha ha ha ........but then no tobagganing or sledding downhills at dangerous slopes ......no worries be happy ..........

  You see Lyn I can always tell your whether even before they tell you on the news lol it's now 10 above and foggy and yes the MOOSE are back breaking down my fence line AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! and I'm trying to save up for that trip I figure I can make it 8 hours a day of driving with the horses (they too need a break from it to move around) But lets hope and Kitt you better be there to and if I here you say 80 degrees again I'm coming though this stupid puter and give you a slap in the face full of snow lol

  Hey Kitt I hope you meant snowshoe rabbits, get them right along the back of my land lol. Hey just talking about it I just put up 4 round bales of hay and at 800pds apiece where were you to help out???? You said you wanted to feed them right, now thats just a part of it lol

800 pounds............I am headed for the hills, Beverly Hills.  lol

I have a weight restriction 30 lbs.............herniated disc.  I will pick up one carrot at a time.

Do the wolves howl when you sing?  GTG, chores to do, my dog needs to go outside.  LOL  :-)

Here in the East of England on the North Norfolk coast it is rainy, dreary and about 8 degrees. Nothing compared to what you guys in the US are putting up with!!!!

We got our first real snow fall this morning. It's beautiful! :) I can't wait to hit the slopes - they're already open! Yippee!

Ahhh snow.  I'm in a fit of jealousy..!

In the middle of a heat wave here..again....over 100 for ten days running...

off to dream of rain (and happy to be back at HW :-) - hi anyone who remembers nervy little me) xxx hope you have all been fabulous :-) or at least tried...!

  Hi nevvymeg,

  How have you been doing, we got hit with a lot of snow but now it's raining and all the snow is melting fast and getting warm for this time of year.

  I just got back from the ER and found out that I have cluster headaches the worst kind of headaches one can have and they call it the suicide headaches from what I have read on the net but that's oK I have a high tolerances for pain and a will to live lol

But yet they still don't know what is really going on with me other then that for right now and they say it's harder then child birth but I have not had that much pain yet, but it's been going on for 3 weeks now on and off and can last for months to a year or more but this is not anything new for me just something else I need to deal with.

  But enough of me how have you been doing? As it's been sometime, hearing from you, and I hope all is well for you.

YOU have GOT to be my soul mate my brother something....thats just what I was tx for blood pressure skyrocketed light noise anything just about thru me into tizzy and Oxy would not touch pain
I was dx about 15 yrs ago with them and yes D they are killers ........

I have had to stay off puter not watch tv just look out the window at the snow and hope to hades it will finally dwindle right away .....

Gave me a shot of gravol and something else plus I was severley dehydrated ...DUH........I knew that .......so I had some needed fluids IV way lol that was fun had to go to other hospital no nurse will touch my veins here..........

I love reading all the silliness on here and glad ya wanted it brought back up my cowboy
NOW on to you MR Dan.....How much room ya got there.......lol........

I LOVED this post last year!! hahahaha.  It is FREEEEEEEEEEZING here I tell ya.  The ice is started to stick to the windshields and it's colder than a son of a gun.

So, let me think of something crafty here.

Nine weeks along and scurrying to my truck,

freezing from the cold and it hasn't even warmed up.

Turn the key in the ignition,

why couldn't I be in florida instead of hearing about ice fishing.

Oh wait!! Can't travel or hop on a plane,

oh well, what the heck, I guess I'll just wait for pregnancy pains.

7 months to go, and already feeling like a blimp,

waiting for the ice to melt in defrost,

off I go to get more pregnancy stuff!!

  Jeez it's been raining all day yesterday and in the 40's and still in the 40's today, all that snow we got is melting off fast and the side roads are a sheet of ice if only I had ice skates lol

Yowsers, AK, cluster headaches, that sounds really nasty.  Suicide headaches? Well you tell those headaches where to go with such a stupid self-defeating name.  Hope you are ok otherwise and if you need a decent whinge go right on ahead...!

Lyn, I've missed you too sweet one!  You have all been in my thoughts (though if not on my screen).

Congrats Twiggy.  I guess you're not feeling so twiggy at the moment with baby on board!

I have been really good, thanks for asking. I decided to return to study full time as well as work full time in April so I could make some changes in my life (help others through the pain caused by anxiety by studying to be a counsellor) so I haven't had any spare time..literally! I like to give this site my full attention so I took a little break, but I'm on holidays now and look forward to catching up with one and all.

P.S over 6 months dry now,

It has been snowing ( thanks Cowboy) and a blowing for dys .....yep i love it but c'mon this much and those ppl that are scared or dont know how to drive on snow whats up with that...............

  New Flash for Lyn----- warm weather coming your way, low to mid 40's most snow is now gone from the north and raining for the past few days with high winds------ If planning on cooking a turkey do so before hand as high winds may topple big trees on power lines and power outage's for up to 16 teen hours maybe expected

        Thanksgiving now put on hold till Sunday

  Nope, Cowboy not yanking your chain Lyn. Bird and most of the fix ins were in oven or stove top and heard a load crash and had a big tree fall in are driveway ans shortly ofte another one fell on the power lines and you guess it 16 teen hours later we got are power back and yes most of the snow is gone from all the rain we got as well.

I am so glad you and family not hurt my friend ......
we had a small power outage but hades bells no trees falling here yet............
WE are supposed to be getting plenty of rain next couple of days so the snow should be gone and drivers should know how to drive again ..........lol

Lord lifting ......I am just so bleeding glad you's are okay .........
