Dear Tony Again, my apologies for deviating from the topic. I started reading about Hannah; I couldn’t finish because I felt upset & angry. I hope that’s what started me ranting about lack of cure...

Couldn't agree more. There is huge money to be had in stretched out treatments ,which spans a longer period of time and more drugs; very little money to be had in a finding a cure. The analogy to...
Chris It is extremely unlikely about bone mets. Gleason grade is low and only 4/52 (or say less than 1 out of 12). If you hadn't gone for a 52 core low chance that it would have even been picked up....
Hannah will be in my prayers. Here we are, lucky enough to have so many good years... I honestly believe that if the drug companies and the governments put their minds to it, there would have been...
Dear Mr & Mrs Dirtmover I had exactly the same worries as you. The main worry was not waking up, since I never had any surgeries before and had a young family. It was the worst period, most stressful...
Hi Kris I read somewhere in forum that sex nearer to a psa test (24 hrs) may affect psa results. But that is if you have a prostate, so not relevant if the whole prostate is removed during surgery....

Speaking to some people on the medical side, I get the impression that all robotic surgeries are video taped ? Stands to logic since the Da Vinci company needs constant monitoring to improve their...
Hi Piano I read somewhere that the nerves in the pelvic area trace a path most often underneath the blood vessels. During surgery small blood vessels are either quartised ? / cut off. Apparently only...

DanmanBob, as I understand examining of the lymph nodes is done routinely for all Open surgery but not for Robotic surgery ?...
It is a grey area, but I would have thought that most people would probably give more credence to post op pathology report because they have the whole prostate to look into. At the same time reverse...
