lugie, I misunderstood, I thought you said the percocets were working. Im sorry, well if they were working then you dont have to worry about
taking to much tyenol, you wont reach 4000mg, maybe thats the problem, add more tyenol. Even phergan can enhance the effects of the percocet. But all this is best to ask you dr and see what you and he agree upon, whether he wants to add to the percocet or change you entirely to another drug like the Oxycontin i believe is the next step up, from the percocets, scroll back down and see her list, and see whats next.
But as I described before according to that list demoral is way below some of the others i get prescribed, but no dr will prescribe demoral very easily, if its lower tthan loratab and percocet etc, why wont they prescribe often, is more addicting? I find demoral when I have prescibed occassionally helps me more than any of it even the morphine( i cant stand morphine, make me dizzy, and nasuea,) maybe they were just giving me too much of it, when i had my partial hsterectomy, I kept begging for them to take the cathater(sp?) out, they kept saying push your pain button, as it was a self pain thing, I wouldt keep pushing it. My husand bent down to kiss me good bye, goodnite,(he had to take care ofthe kids).
I whispered in his ear, take the cathater out!!!!)
Once thay finally took the cather out and took off the morphine drip, I felt so much better until I tryed to stand up, nearly fell over, to much morphine, so the nurse came in with a big shot of phergan, and i was pefectly fine after that. I could walk wasnt dizzy, ate my food.
So I guess what Im saying again, sorry to repeat is we are al so different, Percocet didnt do anyhting for me, lorotab worked better, and its weaker supposdly. All our systems are so different, it very much trial and error. See what your doc thinks about stepping you up to the oxycontin. Good Luck!...
