I've never had prescript
ion type knee braces. So far only the over the counter type. I am planning on going soon to see an ortho. but one of the Dr.'s I see suggested I ask for a snyvile (sp) injection. It's supposed to help with osteoarthritis of knees. Am interested in the braces since I really don't want to have the knee surgeries. june

You might want to at least research the injections they can be very helpful with OA.

Please try and explain to me how disabilty plays a roll in the brace situation. Do they pay even if you have another insurance? Do they pay an additional sum for needed medical , braces, blood pressue monitors etc.?

i live in British Columbia Canada, they pay for any medical you need, such as braces. Diabetes supplies, Special shoes etc i have no other insurance so i don't know how that would work!
where do you live June17?
