Hi,
Does anyone know what part of the immune system does enbrel and humira effect?

hi blondie & welcome to Healing Well.
Enbrel & Humira works on the part of the immune system that sends out & develops these cells called Tumor Necrosis cells (TNF). so the medicine targets these TNF cells & inhibits them from recognizing that your tissues are foreign (thus our immune system will not attack itself).
so that's what these drugs are "supposed" to or "may" do.
the persons immune system will become a little suppressed, which is the goal of therapy...to suppress the immune system.
