I have been just reading through the posts very quickly. I must get some sleep.
Anyway, I read that Camama mentioned something about water with medications.
Does anyone know more about this? Camama, are you there?

Yes, if you take methotrexate you will need to drink extra water to stay hydrated. The post you are referring to was probably about the MTX, so if you take this medication make sure you drink lots of water.

In general if you are taking medications processed by your kidneys you should be drinking extra water.

LOL, guess I was beat to the answer. Drinking enough water when on medications are a big must like Mom and SJ said. There are some medications (like methotrexate) where you really have a different experience on the med (for the negative) if you don't drink enough H2O.

I know when taking drugs with sulfa you need to drink lots of water. The sulfa can crystalize on your kidneys. When taking synthroid you should also take it on an empty stomach with 8 oz water.

Morro Bay was just too expensive.
I wish I lived in San Diego. It must be beautiful. And expensive!

Sometimes I feel like an MD Pamela! You wouldnt believe all the crap they make you learn in nursing school! I think its because most patients think their docs are gods and are scarred to talk to them but they interorgate the nurses as soon as the doc leaves....

If you are a nurse, you know a lot. I know that much.
I don't know why doctors act the way they do. Maybe it's because they want
to go through their patients fast so they can make more money. Maybe their
patients' pain bores them. Maybe they are just sort of unfeeling. Maybe they
don't know their business.
Nurses who take care of the minute to minute problems are close to the patient.
They usually go into this extremely difficult job because they are caring people.
Actually, people who have a true calling.
Many, if not most, nurses are women. Hmmmmm. Could that be the reason
why patients trust them and ask them questions?
Your diagnoses is beyond my understanding. Actually so is mine.

Well my diagnosis is a joke itself. Everytime I see my doc he gives me a new one! Its too hard for him to say "I have no idea". I wonder if they know whats going on with any of us sometimes!
