Does anyone else feel cold all the time?

I drive everyone around me nuts. I am still running my space heater in the office because the air conditioner feels too cold even though I have the vents closed in my office. If my husband puts the fan on in the evening it makes me feel cold enough to throw a blanket over myself....

I just saw a doctor column that says this can be caused by autoimmune diseases and I was like...YES I'm not crazy.

Is anyone else affected?

I get too cold and then too hot> I thought it was my hormones! But it could easily be autoimmune too... oh the joys, golitho

I'm the same, I feel cold and then I get hot flushes I think. I thought it was hormones also. One minute I am rugged up to the hilt and then I have to strip off the blankets and kick the legs out (LOL). What a sight! Oh well there's only me and hubby here!

When the disease is active I almost always have a fever part of every day and that makes me feel cold.

very good topic. I am always freezing at work and at home if the air conditioning is on. I plan to ask my rheumatologist if it is just me or what!!!

Hi everyone,

Right now, I am sitting here at work, wearing a jacket. It is in the upper 70's outside and I took off my jacket when I went to lunch. Very backwards. I have been freezing in the ac all day. The weird thing is that I burn up at night when I am trying to go to sleep, even with the ac on at home.

Yes, I am always shivering! In fact, I never have the A/C on until my husband comes home, because it is just too cold.
