Hello, everyone.
My name is Vanessa. I have been diagnosed w/Erosive Inflammatory Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, and severe OA. My husband and I took a day trip yesterday and I was in the car about five hours. I had to call into work this morning. I took two 50 mg Tramadol and that didn't quite do it, so I took a Soma 350 mg, and that is easing the pain. I have torn cartilage in my hip and that hip felt as though there was a screwdriver boring into it this monring. I have burisitis in both shoulders, and my left shoulder was pretty much screaming this morning, too. I plan to go into work at one p.m., but I do not feel well.
I had a Rheumy tell me ten years ago I had a mild case of RA. I didn't like him, so I stopped seeing him. I finally had to go to another rheumy. He says EOA, Fibro and OA. I know I do have OA and I believe the dx of EOA, also. But I feel so lousy. I'm still wondering if I also have seronegative RA. Just wondered what you all thought. Can EOA, Fibro and OA make a person feel like they have been run over by a truck, or been put through a wringer, literally???
My rheumy does have me takin Chlorquine for the EOA. I hope it helps. I was on Plaquenil, and it worked very well. Unfortunately, I became allergic to that med after six months. The fatigue is awful.
Thanks so much for your help,
V
