Hi, Lynny23...I have been diagnosed with Cubital Tunnel Syndrome (NOT carpal tunnel syndrome), which essentially means the ulnar nerve is being pinched by my inflamed elbow joints (inflamed from the R.A.)...my right elbow, in particular, is the worse one that is stiff and achy; at times, almost to the point of being unusable...about three weeks ago, my hand/elbow surgeon did a cortisone shot to see if it would make a difference, and it did - a huge difference...I am able to hold off on surgery for a bit.
When I was younger, the R.A. would have my elbows "freeze" every now and then; literally, they would stiffen up at a 45-degree bend and I wouldn't be able to unbend them for days and the pain was excruciating.
I hope this helps and I hope your elbows feel better QUICKLY!
