Humira, diarrhea and nausea

Anyone having continual diarrhea while taking Humira? My partner started weekly Humira injections at the beginning of December. The week before xmas, she had IV solumedrol - 1000mg/day for 3 days. She wound up w/an opportunistic infection the 3rd day, but 2 weeks later it seemed resolved and she finally felt some pain relief from the Humira & IV solumedrol. She's had nausea since she started the Humira, but the diarrhea concerns me. Nothing dark or bloody that raises obvious concerns, just not holding anything in....which means all our good nutrition is for naught right now. No fever or other signs of infection either.

She's previously had GI bacterial overgrowth, but the symptoms were very different - bloating, foul gas, etc. I'm wondering if others have had continual or episodic diarrhea w/Humira? We're going to call the GI doc on Monday, but it will take a couple weeks to get the appt. In the meantime, we're trying kyodopholus supplements, and I'm watching her closely for any additional signs that warrant immediate attention. I am hoping that the solumedrol & infection affected the flora & fauna (as my mother would say) in the GI tract, and that we just need to re-balance the GI tract.

I have been on Humira for five months. I had slight nausea at first, but no side effects now...nothing big, anyway. I hope your partner's symptoms subside soon, so she doesn't end up dehydrated.
