Back when I was 15, I had ulcerative colitis. Then from my early 20s I've been suffering from sacroiliitis. I also have issues with my sinuses and asthma. Now recently my bicep area has been hurting which my dr said it's probably tendinitis. The common theme is inflammation.
With my diet, I am two extremes. I am super healthy in that I eat tons of veggies and fruits including the best ones (e.g. spinach, kale, broccoli, beets, berries, etc). I don't eat meat or chicken but eat fish and always stick to whole wheat. But i hvae a major sweet tooth where I'll probably have something every day.
So my question is...am I causing all these issues with my sweet tooth? Do you believe that diet plays a role and can make things better, worse or cure (if perfect diet)? I know they say things like omega3, tumeric, etc help but to be honest I feel no different when I take them. When I asked my rhematolgist about diet, he said a balance is good (didn't say I have sweet everyday). Opinions?
