plaquenil and dizziness

I just saw my rheumy yesterday, and she wants me to try to increase the plaquenil from 200mg to 400mg. I took 400mg today with lunch, and I noticed I got very dizzy shortly after taking the higher dose (within an hour). It was almost like the dizziness I had when I was on percocet after surgery, could only lie down and couldn't think clearly. Still a bit dizzy (5+ hours later).

Is this normal?

At least its taken away the joint pain. Though don't feel like I'm any closer to a diagnosis.

The bottle warns it can make you feel dizzy.

Way to many warnings and side effects. Since I'm nearly twice that size it might help explain my general lack of side effects from most of the meds. I have an exceptional memory but seem distracted lately, might be one of those annoying side effects of one of too many medications. The constant exhaustion is bad enough by itself, dizziness besides has to be awful.
