RA and Fibromyalgia

Hello Everyone, I'm new here but have just been diagnosed with RA and fibromyalgia. Is this common to have both and what are aothers doing to help live with bothof these? I am now on Lyrica for Fibro and Methotrexate for RA. What about Remicade inj's?

Fibromyalgia likes to ride piggyback on many other problems.
It's mainly a word for overactive nerves. If you have pains from RA it will make you feel the pain more.

I have lupus and fibro. I visit here because my lupus is treated the same way as RA.

Hi dlvs
I have not been diagnosed with fibro but am relatively newly diagnosed with RA. My Dr is talking about.putting me in Remicade infusions. Is that what your Dr is suggesting for you?
I'm on MTX and prednizone for RA.
I will find out about Remicade on the 23.

I have both...and they are killing me!!! OUCH!!!! I can never get them both under control enough to fully function. I feel disability calling my name soon I fear. I am on Enbrel, Celexa, Trazodone, Neurontin, and Requip
