Hi,my RA dotor has been testing me since last december since2011,
With zero negative result she try nsaids but I turn out to be alergic,so now she decide to treat me for RA and put me on predisone, but my diabetis type 2
When up so she took me off fast was only on it for a week. My hand are stiff in the morning but not swollen, and my needs are strating to hurt at night and when I walk or go up the stairs, I also have neck and back problem. I when to pain managment and they refer me to thraphy. My question is what happen I just have oastio artritis, due to the fact that I'm already 54 years old
And I start taking meds for RA. She put me on Hydroxychloroquine sulfare 200mg twice a day and oxycodone hcl 15 mg when needed, I have two see an eye dotor before starting the Dmards because She said the eye dotor has to
Clear for this med, he need to run a special test on my eye to if is o.k. for me to take this med and follow up with the same eye test every six month that
Scary, I ask her and she said that if the meds affect my eye sight, it would reverse itself as soon as I stop taking the med,and that only one of her patient had problem with this med. I dont know how long I've got to take
This med before i see result or if I should take it at all. Ialso notice that whenIlay dowm to rest my hands get stiff and they start hurt wheni try to do anything. But 15 minute after I start moving they become more fexsable. Please help dont want to take a drug like this if my codition does not require it at this time. The reason she priscribe this is because i cant take nsaids.
