Hi Shelby,
I'm not a doctor but sero negative rheumatoid arthritis has bizarre symptoms at times, my rheumy says its often hard to treat because it causes inflammation in ligament and tendon sheathes or where tendons attach to bones so different symptoms to RA but the symmetricalness of symptoms is what they go for in their diagnosis of it.
I don't know if that helps or not. We all suffer differently. See if you can get a script of prednisone and if they gives you relief then its definately inflammatory of some discription. It sounds as if your immune system is in overdrive to me but as I said I'm not medical at all.
I'd definately go to rheumatologists who are used to seeing sero negative arthritis sufferers, they know instantly just by examining you.
Good luck with your search and you're not alone, golitho
