do any of you take the flu shot being on prednisone, methotrexate or valtex (antiviral for eye shingles)??? thanks for sharing.

My rheumy insists that I get a flu shot every year. Currently taking two immunosuppressing medications, prednisone and Simponi. I have been on anti-TNF meds for the most o9f the lat 10 years and have gotten a flu shot every year without problems. My GI also asked that everyone living in my household also get a flu shot which the loving do for me.

Hi I also get the flu shot every year. It is important for anybody
whom takes an TNF blocker med to get the flu shot.

thanks for both responses. found out from pharmacy that flu shot is also okay to take with valtrex. so i'm getting my flu shot. teddybearweiser thanks for letting everyone know, i read your recent post.VIEW IMAGE
