It sounds like you have the same sort of pain that I do. It's not debilitating, but it's definitely there. I wake up around 2am with my feet throbbing and my hands aching. When I get up in the morning, I usually hobble around for a while, but a hot shower helps a lot. I've also heard that an electric blanket helps since you can adjust the temperature.
The onset was terrible, but with mtx and sulfasalazine, I'm starting to feel a little better.
As the others have said, everyone's pain is different. I hope you find relief.
ETA: I bought a pair of compression gloves intended for arthritis and they really do help. Also, I've found that taking one "nighttime" ibuprofen before bed helps me sleep. (Taking two makes me feel dopey in the morning.)
