Hi Don, when I first went on humira injections instead of pens I went up to our local emergency room and asked the nurse there if she would show me how to inject. They were so good and told me I could drop in any time I needed to. My GP also has a nurse who offered to help me too.
And since I've found out out that humira has nurses who will train you as well. My local clinic where I used to get infusions also offered, so I reckon just ask around there must be nurses in a clinic around you that are more than happy to teach you.
Read the label and check if it is intra muscular, I was scared the first time injecting my leg but it was as easy as injecting my belly, my nurse taught me to rub hard first to sort of generally numb the area, then pinch up the skin before injecting, works well for me.
Good luck, but go with a nurse until you feel comfortable, golitho
