I found a great thread about this topic on this site, but it's locked (meaning maybe it's gotten too old?) So I decided to start a new one.
I am undiagnosed with any autoimmune disease, or any disease at all really except allergies, but have been getting these sores in my nostrils - like a pimple or a boil, for the past several months. Yes, it is visible from the outside. The swelling is enough that it makes my nose look lopsided. I do have allergies. We did recently move to a house with a forced hot air heating system which could be a culprit I guess. I've been to the ENT several times, but don't have an answer. Mostly it occurs near the tip of my nose, and it is on the outside wall of the nose. He put me on flonase, and said to take claritin and use saline. It just doesn't seem that this could be allergy related. The pain is significant!!! Does anyone else get these?
Thanks!
